Context
In early 2020, the COVID-19 outbreak led to successive lockdowns and the enforcement of strict social distancing measures. Public gatherings were cancelled, travel was restricted, and cultural events were suspended, forcing creators to fundamentally rethink their presentation formats.




Context
It was within this context that Balenciaga conceived a runway show entirely filmed against a green screen at the Cité du Cinéma and broadcast via VR headsets, enabling the brand to stage an ambitious show while complying with health regulations.

Project
The agency Digital Immersion, specialist in immersive solutions, managed the full 360° capture, while La Room’s Cut handled post-production. In just three days, nearly fifty models were filmed and then compiled to bring the runway show to life in virtual reality.
